I made a rain or shine umbrella for the handle.
Accented with a small fringe. The fabric is dyed to match the color of the fabric, and the fringes are also water-repellent.
The fabric uses non-twisted yarn for the warp and hard-twisted yarn for the weft, so it is supple, soft, and has just the right amount of luster. It is UV water repellent and waterproof, so you can use it even on rainy days.
The 47cm size is the size of a typical parasol. It's a convenient size because it's more compact than an umbrella when it looks like it's going to rain or on a light rain day.
