Malacca: This rattan is made from skin that originates from Malacca in Southeast Asia. It is bent using special European techniques to prevent wrinkles in the skin. The smooth, glossy surface is silky smooth and comfortable to hold.
Rattan: Rattan native to Southeast Asia is peeled and processed. The shading of the browned surface is beautiful from any angle. It is a lightweight and durable material.
Frassino: Natural wood native to Europe with beautiful grain. It has been burned to bring out the grain even more. It is a hard and durable material.
Bamboo: Each piece is individually toasted by a craftsman over a burner and then bent by hand. Each piece is different in thickness, number of knots, browning, etc.
*Malacca and Frassino handles are rare and will be sold in limited quantities.

Lot differences in color may occur due to color differences due to wood grain and manual work. Engraved items (animals, etc.) will have individual differences, so please enjoy this as well. Even with the same material, the wood grain may appear darker or lighter when dyed.
